Episode 136
Listen to “A Few Thoughts at a Challenging Time” on Spreaker.
We are all moving through an intense and unique experience as a global community, and I wanted to share a few thoughts at this challenging time.
Each and every one of us is moving through this experience on two levels. One is the global level. The way we are connecting and collaborating as a global community is changing, and will continue to change in many ways. We are also each having a personal experience during this time. What we feel, do, leave behind, connect with and create reflects our mindset and sense of self as we process all that’s changing and different in our lives.
In this short recording I talk about how all of our feelings are valid, important, and essential for taking this time in seclusion to do some very important clearing and healing – and process our fear. The world is changing, and that is not in our personal control. However, the way we spend our time while we ride out the experience is all up to us.
Pay attention. Feel – but don’t judge it. Make notes. Meditate. Go outside. Be with loved ones as best you can. Thank the people who continue to offer you care, food, support and fulfill your basic human needs at this time – even if it’s at a 6ft distance, over video chat, or phone.
There’s so much unraveling while also taking root in this spring season of upheaval. Embrace the time to clear out the old, connect with the truth of what matters to you, create just because – and most importantly – to feel love for yourself while you spend time sorting through it all. It’s OK – no matter what’s coming up in your mind and heart.
So much love to you all near and far – and thank you for listening to a few of my thoughts at this challenging time. My hope is that any fear or anxiety you feel is slowly washing away to reveal a path to healing, and joy, underneath it all. A new way of life emerging.
