It’s not always easy to move forward when facing what you perceive as a no-win situation. The fear, confusion and other’s people’s opinions can get mixed up in the mind and heart, keeping you from the truth of what you want in order to move forward.

A personal example of this kind of energy is when you feel like all the choices you face have a negative outcome in some way. This makes it hard to get past the surface of “what might happen” to drop down into what’s best because it gets mixed up with expectations and a desire for control.

However, this kind of energy pattern also operates on a global scale. In the aftermath of 2016 US election there’s still a lot of fearful, confused emotions turning into anger and hate simply because people feel trapped in a no-win thought loop.

To expand out of this stalemate of no-win situation energy, it can help to find a way to shift your perspective while working to open your heart to new possibilities. Just because energy feels stuck in the present moment doesn’t mean it will always be that way. This is why it’s important to be mindful of what kind of energy you are experiencing and putting out into the world around you.

On the latest episode of Flirting With Enlightenment, Jamie and I talk about the energy of a no-win situation and offer tips on how to move through it with a sense of grounding, mindfulness and love. We also touch on “victim” mentality and the ways it can keep you feeling off balance.

In addition, we discuss the importance of giving yourself permission and space to acknowledge the emotions you are feeling while also adding in more self-care. This helps you shift thoughts and focus to get back into a spiritual, mindful and loving space. Remember, you don’t have to love a situation, but it is essential to find a way to be at peace with it – and yourself.

This episode is extra special because we recorded it in person! Jamie made it to Fort Collins, Colorado for a visit with me on his first trip to the US. It was definitely a nice change of pace for recording, and we got to kick back and sit on the couch for our chat.
